Don't do anything to it. The worst that will happen is the core will "sing" a little. If it does, and it is bothersome, drip some hot glue on the cracks.
As far as recoating the flyback "tire" with corona dope, if it ain't arcing, don't bother with that either.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
