Dont feel so bad, it happened too me last week. I just finished recapping my Admiral 19a-11 7in set, worked like a champ about 3 hours, picture just faded away!!! and then that smell. the hv trans must have a short, if you let it cool, it will show a pix for about 3 seconds and then fade. any ideas???
