I have an earlier 10" version; with the 10BP4 you don't have to worry about bad picture tubes too much. My experience: Overly complicated. Lots of bad resistors. It finally did come around, though, and now works pretty well. I think every collection needs a Porthole but just beware of the crt issues before putting down much money.
