Commander McDonald reportedly HATED television, & wanted nothing to do with it until it got to be "sorted out". Judging from the comments here, he may have been right...Somebody had a YouTube of their restored 1950 Zenith leather-covered set a couple weeks back that sure was neat, though. I've seen several portholes over the years, but usually they're either WAY too expensive, junk, or not for sale. But yeah, I'd like to have one, if for no other reason, but that they're SO "1950" lookin'...(grin)
