Picked up another 4 tuber. Found at a sale at 355 W. Harrison St. in Elmhurst. Its a later one, model E4001W from 1974. Its the plain basic TV, no AFC or chromatic button features. Has the plain super video range VHF tuner, and basic non-lit tuning dials. Uses the 19DC22 chassis. This is how I remember these TVs as a kid, kind of dirty and from a smoker home but not beat and destroyed. Once the TV gets warm, it emits that stale smoke smell. I remember this well from when Id bring these home back in the early to mid 90's. Smelling the stale smoke while looking through the back cover seeing the tube filiments light up through the layers of dust. Good memories! Has fair use, but still works well. Trippler replaced at one time with the ECG replacement. TV was sitting in the basement on a shelf with some office supplies.
