Jeff, Try a speaker upgrade on the B100, like a smaller 2 way with an 8" woofer...it really improved the sound on mine.

Did you just upgrade the speakers in the original cases or are you connecting others via the RCA jack?
I actually had thought of trying some others but wasn't sure about the impedence.
