It would appear that the pix IFs are all very well tuned, as the picture looks very sharp.
Keep in mind that some of those old sets had a "buzz" or "noise" adjustment for the audio, and that a quick tweak of that particular poteniometer was the magic to keep the white lettering out of the sound path. I might've mentioned possibly a fine tune adjustment would be the first step, but it would appear by your image that the video is optimum at that setting....
