OK, I guess I will power up the set sometime soon.
As to the wire to the tubes, I have some test probe wire thats rated up to 1000V, is this good enough? it seems better than the "nothing" there now, but seems low for the wire going to the HV rectifier, but is probably for the 6BQ6s top cap right? I might just leave that one, since ti is better than the lead going to the HOT, which is just a bunch of little pieces of bare wire stuck together.
