I've made some progress on the chassis recently.

I've cleaned the PCB of most of its gunk but I'm not going to bother about the remaining flux residue thats visible.

I've replaced the few paper capacitors that were fitted and resoldered many of the PCB mounted valve sockets which had dry joints. After removing the valves I've applied a reduced voltage to the chassis to check on component condition.
So far the Ducon polyester capacitors seem to be quite healthy with minimal leakage. The electrolytics are mostly OK at this stage except for one.

After a few more leakage tests on the chassis, I hope to soon have it refitted and see if it runs.
