Here's a picture of the Astor displaying a test pattern. I have not adjusted the picture geometry yet and so there is poor horizontal linearity due to the recent capacitor replacements.
The set is still running on its original tubes and except for a half dozen capacitors, all original components. I'm quite surprised at how well its lasted.
The biggest remaining job needed is to replace or re-engineer an alternative power switch. The original is beyond salvage and is not easy to source.
