Well... the 5 is still alive........BUT....

Some people have a LOT of nerve.... I finally was able to get hold of the people from the house where the ctc 5 is. It looks like someone has gotten it, So it will not be landfill material. I saw it. It is a blond cabinet, in reasonable shape, on legs. I left my phone number and name, with a woman there, requesting for the person who had it to call me, about selling it to me. So, there MAY still be hope for me getting it, after all..

BUT that is NOT what upset me. While i was there, I saw the remains of a ctc 7 or 9 in the big dumpster, behind this house. the woman whom I left my number with was nice about it, and I started to get it out of there. there was little of the cabinet left, but the crt(21cyp22) and chassis were intact. THEN, and OLD WOMAN, came out of the house, and started whining for me to stop trying to get it out of the dumpster. I tried to convince her to allow me to get it(it was RIGHT near the back, and easy to get at), but she continued to complain, then she asked an old man there about it, and he said" you are in the way, get out of here!", So, I offered to pay $20 for it, but he still insisted" we got that junked packed in there, and you cant get anything out, you will cause us problems getting stuff in there". so, since I was in my work uniform, and was afraid of problems occurring, I had to give up( the crt on the 7 in the dumpster had a brightner on it ,anyway, but still.....)

Isn't that SAD, the way some jerks ARE??!!??
