I does look to be from the late '40's. How many speeds does the record changer have? If it's 78 only, it was likely made before '48. If it has 33 and/or 45, it was made no earlier than '48. A model number could help us pinpoint a date.

It will need it's capacitors, tubes, and any bad wiring replaced before it can safely be plugged in.
