Boy that SX-17 goes way back. Thats a great radio...I love the old military boatanchors. I'm in the process of getting a Collins R-388/URR. I've always liked the looks of it and they are suppost to be quite good performers. I'll send it and the R-390A off to get rebuilt and aligned later this summer..
