Thanks very much for your efforts. The schematic confirms what is under the chassis.

There was still a vertical problem that I cured by resoldering all the tube socket contacts under the 6SL7. It is solid now and makes a great picture.

Next I have to clean and polish up the bakelite cabinet and the plastic CRT window. I know not to use any cleaner with amonia, and I watched a YouTube video about cleaning bakelite with GO-JO, but would still very much like to know what 'the experts' on this list recommend.

I guess itwill be Novus plastic polish for the window.

Thanks for all the kind help with this set. As I may have said this is the first electrostatic set I've ever worked on.
