Oh ya....definitely the G-2000.

I was lucky enough to pick one of those up about a year and a half ago. Drove up to Wisconsin from Oklahoma City to get it. I know, crazy but this one was never sold and in virtually mint condition. The picture is incredibly bright and clear and I am lucky to have it.

There was speculation on whether RCA actually made 2000 of these sets. There may be fewer of them originally in the world than we think. In some ways, this set may be as rare as the coveted CT-100. It certainly was a milestone for RCA and television in general. Just the fact that is has rudimentary memory circuits, albeit large and bulky is something in and of itself.

I truly miss the days when RCA and Zenith were going head to head and pushing the envelope of quality and technology. Shoot, I just miss quality, period!

Someone please save this set. If for nothing else, for someone who is interested in it. If it were closer, I would go for it myself.
