Sylvania sets from the fifties show up but ones this early aren't common at all. I think this is correct: Sylvania entered the TV/radio manufacturing business by purchasing Colonial Radio, which had been a major supplier to Sears. I used to have a Sears Silvertone radio/tv/phono combo from that same era and it was somewhat similiar to the set you are seeking. (It was made by Colonial, which I think might have been operated as a seperate division by Sylvania)
Keep that picture out there; post it on the Early Television Foundation classifieds, as well. (if you haven't already) Sooner or later one will turn up.
