Spotted a classified ad in a local senior newspaper: "Hundreds new radio tubes, collectable shortwave consoles, antique table radios, tester, all to go one package, reasonable." Fellow lives in Osakis...about 10 miles from me. I don't know him personally, but I know he runs a weekly ad in the local shopper looking for radios & providing radio repair. Good reputation. I imagine he's either giving up the hobby/business or downsizing, since he had an auction I couldn't attend 6-7 years ago
with a YARD full of consoles and 2 hayracks full of parts and table models & stuff. I wasn't able to get hold of him today, and, due to being close to broke I'd only be grinding me teeth for weeks.
