Going back on topic to the color variations in NTSC. I think I might have found at least a source that may answer some of our questions about early NTSC. The BBC launched a trial of NTSC on their 405line system. Although I haven't had a chance to read all the way through, they are likely to give the good and the bad about NTSC in their report. As I said. I don't know if the answer is there, I haven't read it all the way through yet (its pretty technical). But, it should be a good read for this subject.
