THAT makes it interesting! You mean the original huge box for the screen? Wow... This outfit definitely needs to be saved, and now I'd say NOT so let someone have it as a daily-use TV.
Since it's in MN, I can't see any practical way to get it out here to California, or I'd find a place to keep it.
This may sound goofy, but in the event that time runs out, could the boxes be carefully collapsed and packed up with all of the plastic bags, paperwork, etc., and be offered up for sale without the TV and screen? Those items are rare, whereas the TV really isn't the big issue. But again, that's only a last resort in case the TV has to go to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Here's hoping it will stay in 1 piece and go to a collector!
