I've lost count of my boomboxes, and largely stopped buying any. I have something around 100 of them, almost all of them somewhat rare and/or "collectible" ones (and in some cases, multiples of those).
Last night alone, I walked away from a Sharp GF-9696, two Sharp GF-575s, and several other ones that weren't bad. Oh, and after some struggle I walked away from a Marantz PMS-7000, too, since I already have several of them (along with several 8000s, too, and one 6000).
Just too many good boomboxes around my "hunting grounds" for me to keep buying any more. I'll still grab any more JVC M90s I find, though; I only have two, and they are just TOO nice and TOO rare --not to mention TOO valuable in the marketplace-- to pass up!
