I worked on one of those wire recorders for a musician who wanted to run his electric guitar through it as an effect. He submitted it to me with a bunch of spools with interesting stuff on them--old standards, etc. Most singular was a spool that had a recording of The Cyclotronist's Nightmare.... lyrics here... http://www.haverford.edu/physics-ast...erts/cyclo.htm What a treat!
