It's interesting what happens when people dash off postings on Craigslist, or eBay for that matter. I believe the seller of this set may have meant 1959. Numbers 5 and 6 are right next to each other on a computer keyboard, so it's easy to type the wrong number if you're in a hurry, or aren't paying close attention to what you are typing. If this TV were truly a 1969 model it would have the modern RCA logo and a completely different control panel, plus it would have a factory-installed UHF tuner and very likely would be solid-state. Not to mention that it wouldn't be nearly as large as this one. The old "RCA Victor" script logotype would be missing as well; RCA stopped using it, I think, in 1968, when they changed to their present stylized logo.
