Some sellers with dollar signs in their eyes aren't evil, just ignorant. I once got email from a visitor to my website who declared that his cheapo postwar Silvertone radio console was worth $10,000 and wanted me to confirm that for insurance purposes.
When I opined that a more likely value would be $100 on a good day, he got very angry and stormed off -- probably to find a more congenial "expert."
Anyway, we can trust the marketplace to educate these sellers eventually
