Wow....that looks like a Philco 37-116X with automatic tuning and 15 tubes. Philco made several high fidelity radios in the 30's which really put out some nice sound. The 37-116x cost $195. new.....that's like 1/3 the cost of a new car in the 30's. I like it's machine age looks that says "I mean business".

I own a 1931 model 112 console, 11 tube with the Norman Bel Geddes designed cabinet.

Easy to see how Philco became the number one is sales after only three years of radio production, they made great stuff !
