Well heres on of the cabinet with the face plate. I didn't want to strip the cabinet and do a complete restore, so I wiped it down really well, sprayed it with toner, shellec, did some 220 sanding in between to get a smooth finish. I am not sure if it looks good or not. I need to work on the panel under the face plate, looks like the grain filler dried out along with the finish, I might be able to smooth out the shellec to get a smoother look, I will then give it a coat of bee's wax...it does look 100% better then before but just not sure :?
