Conductive paint

I talked to Scotty today at Hawkeye.

He was really nice and will be able to ship the conductive paint next week.

He also mentioned that as long as I run a wire or something conductive around the tube and connect it to the remaining conductive paint which is connected to the grounding wires then that that should be enough of a ground. Of course avoiding the anode area, etc.

Zenithfan1, I'm happy that you didn't bid on the Raytheon - it was the only one I bid on in the silent auction. I did bid a lot for it as a donation to the museum.

bkharris, I was worried about the graphite spray rubbing off the tube. I looked over one of your previous posts and did pick up "Television and Radio repairing" from Amazon.com I'm sure that will be very helpful.

I will keep you guys updated on my progress restoring the Raytheon and will probably have many more questions.
