Sellers who don't spell check are asking to be ignored by searching buyers - "souvenir" is so often misspelled in so many ways that it's useless as a search term. "Brochure" is another one. I'm sure we all know more examples.
BTW, as a school kid, I got a spelling certificate on which they misspelled my name! The teacher wanted to replace it, but I wouldn't let her - the irony was too delicious.
