Does your ct 100 work? Is the pix tube good? I like that set. I restored only
one of them for Gary Miller in the late 1980s. Do you know him? I try and
gte some photos for you, if you are interested in my study of the art of
maintaining these rellics. Crude as they are I enjoy watching them. They
are even more fun with AMPEX antique video machines like the 7500s or
5800s.
I am working on a rack to providechannels two thru 13 back in their original
spectrum to demonstrate my sets. It is basically a "hotel"system with
NTSC modulators combined into one cable wire to the VHS input of each
set. It is not as easy as it sounds. Old sets do not like modulators
because early tuners "broadcast" on the channel you are trying to feed.
This can cause diathermy and herring bone patterns. Anyway. It is nice
to see that you enjoy the hobby.
