It has a field neutralizing coil and there is a purity magnet at each corner.
Wayne:
The smear is coming from the tuner. When I sub it I get a great picture. I am waiting for some new tubes for it. I HATE working on tuners and this one looks like a cheap one. I may try to do a better set-up with the subber in place. I will post more pictures then.
