Like Steve K mentioned, some of the history of the set is known, as the previous owner is a good guy and forum member who would probably share what he knows about the set with the new owner. The current owner is also a good guy, and while he does deal in antiques, he enjoys them as much as we do, and is into everything old including his 1800's house and 1910-1940 cars.
While he does know what he has, he is certainly not out to gouge anyone with a no reserve auction and could potentially take a loss, not that I know what he has into it.
