Miss America was the top line B&W console. It was featured in the years when Philco advertised on the pagent. It was a marketing program. I don't recall it ever being put on a TV, just in brochures. There was a "D" Line Miss America for '56 that used the 440 / 444 chassis. The color TV123 was not a Miss America. I don't recall any before that. The program was dropped around '61-'62 under Ford.
I remember some executives escorting Miss America around the company while I was working in one of the labs. It was a new building and made a better showplace than the grungy TV plants in North Philly. Good duty for the MarCom guy that day.
