I just saw that TV in person in CT last night. I bought a Crosley 8-407M for parts and drove over to pick it up.
The Dumont bar TV is impressive and huge! I was amazed at the front cover to keep people from touching the controls with the very prominent advertising. It also has FM as a lot of Dumonts do and AM as well from a seperate tuner and dial.
The case is in nice shape, some dirt, a couple of small paint spatters and 2 cigarette burns as the seller noted. Supposed to weigh around 350lbs. It's actually bowing the dolley it is on.
The seller is named Ed Dessau. He is getting out of the TV hobby, had 410 classic sets and is down to the last 20 or 30 after selling on Ebay and to local collectors. He still has amazing one of a kind sets to list in the next few months and some repair supplies. As much as my eyes drooled and he offered me some deals I am out of space and out of cash so I had to pass.
