E. H. Scott radios, even in as rough a shape as this one is, are highly sought after and quite valuable. There are buyers who would be very interested in this radio if you don't want to have it restored and keep it. Please don't plug it in or try to operate it as this radio is over 70 years old and has a number of parts which at this age can quickly burn up and when they do, take out some other virtually irreplaceable parts, like the power transformer. The chassis needs to be gone over and these parts replaced by an expert. A good cabinet man can repair and restore the cabinet to its original finish.
