I had a Philco console many years ago that had a chassis full of loctal tubes. It was a decent performer on both AM std bdcst and SW bands. The console had the "slicer" changer and its optical-type arm pickup. Neither could be made to work with what resources I had at hand as a kid, but the radio worked fine. After all this time I couldn't tell you what the model # was, but you may find similar results if the radio is properly restored.
