I think you tend to forget that while we are all enthusiasts the work you guys are doing is actually significant.
The restoration and documentation of the technical aspects of television history is essential ...really essential.
In no time at all the CRT television has practically disappeared but the place television played in the latter half of the 20th century is immense culturally and in no small part due to the extraordinary advances in television technology.
So when my conservator lady said she was impressed she really did mean it ...and she meant it for all of you.
