Hard to imagine that a historic site had suspended ceiling tiles and cheap 4 by 8 sheets of paneling when the historic event happened... (I don't mean to make light of this historic location, history happens where it needed to).
Though some future great president of the USA will have grown up in a standard generic suburban split level house in a development. And become a historic site like Pres Lincoln's log cabin... And that log cabin probably contains incorrect period pieces, like the wrong brand or style candle holders and such. (Though I've heard that the log cabin where Lincoln was born was built years after his death).
