There is a third "big wirewound" at the top of the terminal board to the right of the perf board. It is hard to see in this view, so I will give you full points. It's a 35 ohm resistor across the filament supply for the tuner chassis and center tapped to ground.
I suspect that the speaker will end up sounding fine. If not, it doesn't look difficult to recone if I can find someone with the expertise and supplies necessary.
