Congratulations, I think...
You can't complain about the price, but I realize that is the least of your worries!
My 48-2500 is the only set I have that has not made it into the house yet and consumes mucho space in my workshop. That's partly because I think it's not all that attractive to display, and partly because I don't have all of its technical bugs corrected yet. Maybe if you start working on yours it will inspire me to really get mine whipped into shape.
Resist the temptation to try to clean the screen with anything aggressive. The screen is coated with a special high relectivity coating which is basically irreplaceable.
