What is it about BSR record changers that's so terrible?  I had a Zenith 4-mode integrated stereo system in the early '80s (was probably manufactured in the late '70s) that had a BSR changer. I did not have one bit of trouble with it, and I used it a lot in the 17 years I owned the system.
