Yeah-the Trabant was pretty miserable. I've seen a few sell here locally-between 3-5k each, if you can believe that. Yes, it is a 2-stroke car, so don't forget to add oil when you fill up.
Maybe it wasn't too bad in comparison, what with the Robin Reliant 3 wheeler, and that awful 3 HP Renault (?) that used a hand crank starter. Being manufactured at the same time...
Edit: actually that hand crank start was from a 1976 Citroen Ami.
