I could never get away with that in my house. The kitchen is off limits for TV service... Unless it is something being repaired to USE in the kitchen!!

Oh no, I'd never work in the kitchen, it's too cramped, I work in the Dining Room.
I have a 1950's Chrome & Formica dinette table I use for a bench.
(I guess I do use the Kitchen Stove and counter for restuffing Filter Cans).
I'd really like to add an enclosed back Patio where I could work, I have two Cats and one 6 month old Kitten and you do have to be careful about leaving small items laying around, like capacitors and tubes.
