Most are push-push for off-on. Some TVs that used the same configuration are rotate off-on. Depends on the year. Either will work fine. Getting the correct knobs to fit the shafts is most critical.
Your TV is a '59 model. It uses the reworked '58 "Seventeener II" portable chassis.
