Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity here both take vintage TVs, even console TVs and radios. Mostly newer/junkier stuff than I'm interested in, but there have been a few nice vintage items, like my precious little Trinitron. Goodwill, however, recently stopped accepting most vintage TVs, though it's kind of unclear what exactly breaks the rules. I think they generally won't accept anything knob-tuned because it's not "cable ready". That just seems ridiculous to me, since they always have at least 3 VCRs on the shelf for $5 that would make any vintage TV cable ready. They always sold (and continue to sell) very quickly at all those places, so I don't understand why they'd stop taking them.
