I just spoke with the guy who I fixed his 802 for, and he told me it is still running great. It was about a year ago that I began work on that thing, and I still think it will be a long while before I consider fooling with one again.
The ad mentions an "eye" they are not referring to a tuning eye, but rather a jewel light at the bottom of the cabinet, which acts as an indicator so you know if the set was left on when the doors were closed.
