The perception of what is "vintage" and "antique" is often misconstrued by our current throw-away, materialistic society that tells us that "new is good" and "old is bad." Free cell phone upgrades every two years doesn't help the situation either.

I once saw a set on Craigslist that said "Really Old TV for sale." I thought okay, it must be a late-1960's/early-1970's console. NO! It was some unattractive 1990's set. It's times like these that help me realize why so many TV and electronics repair shops go out of business.
