Last night I looked up schematic in my RCA Victor "red book" for 1948. Interesting set. It's actually, as stated by someone, an am-fm radio, tv, and, has a phono jack on top back of cabinet. May also have a tuner light. Does have one radio dial light.
The front of the cabinet comes off so you may remove the picture tube before chassis removal.
I may have a replacement RCA speaker I removed from a junked tv.

It's a first generation set with the resistor strip accross the back apron of the chassis.
Very interesting set... There was also a console verssion with half doors.
I think I'm going to enjoy this set.....
There are 5 tubes in radio chassis.
This set runs on manny tubes.
I like the style of tv knobs, and, the brass inserts on large knobs. The front shape of case is similar to the 8TS30.
They've really crammed this set......
8TR29 Table model
8TK29 Console with half doors.
came in Walnut, mahoganny, or, oak.
I think mine is walnut. Grain on one side looks like walnut veneer...
Was a nice looking set when new.....
I think this baby will live again!
