Admirable machine. Mine was pre-S, playback almost indistinguishable from input. These were simplified Ampex 350s.
The S stood for silicon, the pre-S was germanium, inrunner motors much faster wind than the outrunners in S. Scary fast.
No idea what they're 'worth', kinda wish I had mine back, it was flatter than my Technics 1500 15ips half track.
