Plastikote 217 Black Wrinkle finish is available nationwide at Carquest Auto Parts places, and at Northern Tool and Supply. I guess you'd paint black, and then give it a light coat of gray to prevent finish "build"
Krylon makes it too - 3317 Black Wrinkle paint. Our PepBoys carries wrinkle and hammertone finishes, as do most "DoIt" franchise hardware stores.
There's also spray "grit" paint that applies a non-skid surface, haven't tried that stuff, but would like it for a stainless bumper I have on my truck.
