The Search Engine for Mouser is excellent - IF you know what you're doing. It allows you to exactly tailor thier stock to your needs.
Mouser also has detailed specs on all their stuff. Good to know when you're comparing seemingly identical caps, etc. Some have higher operating temp ranges and longer lifespans for pennies more (or less, sometimes).
You're just going to have to get used to their system search. It is NOT hard. Just use the search engine to narrow down your choices.
As far as Tubulars are concerned, I use pretty much one source: Just Radios. They have a simple list with most of the "Pre War" values I use for the sets I restore (1946-50). Whatever tubulars or micas I can't get there I get at Mouser.
Check out the tall, narrow radial Electrolytics made by Panasonic and Nichicon over at Mouser. They fit in multi-section cans and are rated up to 105 degrees C.
