I have many tricks in my bag. I could not have reorganized the garage my self so quickly if I had not used my skate board to carry one end of a desk, dresser, and the Admiral I got from Nick (Which I accidently borke the left rear leg off of and now have to fix ). What killed me was that Mom told me to get the furniture that is going to charity to the front, and then Dad (who has a back problem him self that kept him from doing almost anything helpful) started rushing me to finish before getting things organized as i was told. Perhaps I should have put off Moms orders and just done as Dad said and stoped without finishing.

I'm fine now and would have been then if I had not been rushed to finish.

I generally take the path of least exertion when moving anything. And if moving involves verry heavy consoles or stairs a favorite trick is to remove anything that has weight such as chassis, CRT, safety glass, doors, ETC. then assemble the parts at the desired destination. I carried my Philco roundy up three flights this way on my own and did not have any troubles doing so or aches afterwards.

I often break a cardinal rule of moving heavy objects and lift with my back though. This is because my knees have always been bad, and have only gotten worse after each had it's own accidental dislocation back in my highschool years.
